Presentation
FAZER+ is a Science and Innovation Support Program that aims to support and reward activities and projects that strengthen the research and innovation capacity of Lusófona educational establishments.
FAZER+ starts on April 1st and all applications must be submitted by May 31st of the current year.
The program consists of 1 contest and 3 awards:
- Excellence in Research Contest;
- Award for the Best Innovative Pedagogical Practice;
- Award for Best Research Practices in Education;
- Lusófona University Scientific Publications Award.

Excellence in Research Contest
Excellence in Research Grant
Excellence in Research Competition: The competition is intended to fund innovative projects, preferably with a strong interdisciplinary component in any area of knowledge, which may result in larger-scale projects to be subsequently submitted for national or international funding and/or the submission of patents or other intellectual property registrations.
Available budget allocation
The maximum amount of funding per application is fifty thousand euros (€50,000).
Maximum amount of funding per project
The amount allocated is one hundred thousand euros (€100,000).

Award for the Best Innovative Pedagogical Practice
Presentation
The Prize is intended to reward the integration of innovative practices into the curricular content of units at any level of training, promoting transversal, active and collaborative learning, based on a face-to-face, distance or mixed teaching/learning system, with a view to stimulating self-learning and inclusive education.
Maximum amount of funding per project
The amount to be awarded per individual application is five thousand euros (€5,000).
The amount for group applications is eight thousand euros (€8,000).

Award for Best Research Practices in Education
Presentation
The Prize is intended to reward the best processes for integrating R&D practices into the content of the courses, promoting the immersion of students in research and development activities.
Maximum amount of funding per project
The award amount per application is €5,000 (five thousand euros).
The amount can be awarded individually or to the group of winning teachers.

Lusófona University Scientific Publications Award
Presentation
The Prize is intended to reward scientific research and encourage the practice of publishing in international journals and publishers of recognized quality, with peer review (Q1).
Maximum amount of funding per project
The prize amount per application is 250€ (two hundred and fifty euros).
