In the 7th edition of the Individual Scientific Employment Incentive Competition (CEEC), promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), three COFAC researchers were awarded six-year research contracts.

On September 10, the 5th edition of Criar Ciência e Fazer Inovação Made in Lusófona took place at Lusofona University!

The Universidade Lusófona was awarded the Best Paper Prize at the Experimental Vibration Analysis for Civil Engineering Structures (EVACES 2025) international conference, held this month at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. The event brought together over 380 delegates and featured more than 315 scientific papers.

GHOSTDANCE, an exploratory research project carried out at CICANT and led by researcher Rui Filipe Antunes, received the final classification of ‘Excellent’.

The FCT Evaluation Committee recognised both the quality of the scientific results achieved and the team's ability to successfully manage complex challenges throughout the project's execution.

The editorial board of the International Journal of Film and Media Arts announces the extension of the submission deadline for Vol. 10 No. 3, Dossier 2, developed in collaboration with the European project CRESCINE. The new deadline for submissions is 15 September 2025.

These documents define the strategic areas that will receive EU support, with a focus on competitiveness, sustainability, and digital transformation.
