Álvaro Rocha, Full Professor at Lusófona University’s Porto University Center and President of ITMA (Information Technology Management Association), has achieved the top global ranking (#1) in the field of Maturity Models.

ULusófona participated in the 2026 European Researchers’ Night and shared its research and innovation with the public through a series of experiments, demonstrations, and interactive activities.

On September 10th, the "Criar Ciência" event served as a vibrant meeting point for ULusófona’s scientific community with the Science and Innovation Exhibition.

ULusófona reaffirms its international prestige with the inclusion of thirteenresearchers in the Stanford–Elsevier Top 2% Scientists ranking, which recognises scientists with a high level of scientific impact worldwide. This recognition highlights not only individual achievements but also the institution’s significant contribution to science.
