Seed Funding

Apresentação

O programa Seed Funding foi criado pelo Instituto Lusófono de Investigação e Desenvolvimento com o objetivo de apoiar e premiar atividades e projetos que reforcem a interdisciplinaridade e cruzamento de experiências entre as diversas áreas do saber.

O presente concurso tem por objetivo estimular o desenvolvimento de atividades de investigação e excelência entre o corpo de investigadores das UI&Ds (Unidades de Investigação e Desenvolvimento), Polos e Grupos de Investigação Autónoma do Ensino Lusófona, financiadas pela FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia) ou sem financiamento FCT.

O concurso destina-se a financiar projetos inovadores e preferencialmente com uma forte componente interdisciplinar em qualquer área do saber que possam resultar em projetos em maior escala a submeter a financiamento de outras entidades.

• COPELABS (Centro de Investigação em Computação Centrada nas Pessoas e Cognição)
• I-MVET - Investigação em Medicina Veterinária (pólo do CECAV)
• Intrepid Lab - Research For Business and Society (pólo do CETRAD)

Dotação Orçamental Disponível

O montante máximo para efeitos de financiamento é de 15 000€ por UI&D ou Polo financiado e 5 000€ por UI&D e Grupo de Investigação Autónomo não financiado.
São selecionados os projetos que alcancem maior pontuação na avaliação, até ao limite da verba alocada para o programa, que é de 15 000€ e 5 000€, respetivamente.

Despesas Elegíveis do Projeto

Consideram-se despesas elegíveis do projeto, devidamente justificadas:

• Recursos Humanos – incluindo bolsas de investigação para estudantes inscritos em cursos de Licenciatura, Mestrado e/ou Doutoramento das IES Ensino Lusófono
• Aquisição de bens e serviços – como por exemplo: reagentes, consumíveis de laboratório, softwares, patentes, etc
• Instrumentos e equipamentos científico – desde que não existentes nas IES Ensino Lusófono e limitados a 10% do financiamento solicitado
• Demonstração, promoção e divulgação – Incluindo inscrições em conferências e eventos científicos como oradores, publicação de artigos em revistas científicas internacionais Q1 ou Q2 (peer-reviewed), excluindo revistas predatórias
