The PhD in 3 Minutes: Science Live is an initiative of Lusófona University that aims to highlight the research conducted by its doctoral students and strengthen their scientific communication skills.
Inspired by the international Three Minute Thesis concept, the competition challenges participants to present the central idea of their research in a clear, rigorous, and accessible manner to non-specialist audiences in just three minutes.
The initiative aims to bring science closer to society, raise the profile of the knowledge produced at Lusófona University, and promote a culture of effective and impactful scientific communication.
Available Budget
The winner of the competition will receive a grant of five hundred euros (€500) to cover the cost of attending a national or international conference.
The runner-up will receive one hundred and fifty euros (€150) under the conditions specified in the rules.
The third-place winner will receive eighty euros (€80) under the conditions specified in the rules.
