From April 13 to 16, Lusófona University – Lisbon University Center hosted the WIRE Summit 2026, an event dedicated to artistic research within the context of the FilmEU alliance.
Over four days, the initiative brought together researchers, faculty, students, and professionals, who shared methodologies, creative practices, and innovations in the field of practice-based artistic research.
The program included keynote speeches, project presentations, and various collaborative initiatives, reinforcing the impact of artistic research and promoting European cooperation in higher education and the creative industries.
The WIRE Summit 2026 also contributed to the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 4, focused on quality education, highlighting the role of artistic practice as a form of knowledge.
