ULusófona researchers ranked among the top 2% worldwide in Stanford University's scientist ranking

 ULusófona reaffirms its international prestige with the inclusion of nine researchers in the Stanford–Elsevier Top 2% Scientists ranking, which highlights scientists with high scientific impact worldwide. This recognition highlights not only individual capabilities, but also the institution's strong contribution to science.

The Stanford–Elsevier Top 2% Scientists list, compiled based on metrics from the Scopus database, includes scientists from around the world whose publications demonstrate a high number of citations, h-index, impact and also a track record throughout their careers. The 2025 edition considers rigorous evaluation criteria, namely co-authorship, author position, scientific area and other variables that provide a balanced assessment.
