The call HU-RIZON international research excellence cooperation program (2024-1.2.3-HU-RIZONT), aims to support international collaboration projects coordinated by Hungarian higher education institutions that seek innovative solutions to relevant and current challenges for the Hungarian and international community, in line with the focus areas of the John von Neumann Program (NJP).
The CONTEMFood project: Contaminants in Meat Substitutes: A Contemporary Food Safety Perspective - coordinated by the Department of Digital Food Science University of Veterinary Medicine, Budapest, Hungary - was one of the winners. In Portugal, this project is coordinated by Professor and Researcher Maria do Céu Costa (CBIOS), and funding has been awarded to COFAC in the amount of 150 thousand euros.
