The '“Ugly” fruits and veggies...NOT!' project, coordinated by the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, Poland, and in which Universidade Lusófona is a partner, has been recognized as an example of Best Practice to follow in research.
The project offers training to professionals in the food supply chain (producers, farmers, distributors, suppliers, etc.), with the aim of raising awareness on how to reduce the waste of “ugly” fruit and vegetables, in the frames of sustainable consumption.
