On August 1st, 2024, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) released the provisional results of the 2024 Call of Studentships PhD Research Grants. Fifteen grants were awarded to ULusófona students to carry out their PhDs at CICANT, the Civil Research Group, HEI-Lab and I-MVET, the University's UI&Ds.
CICANT will host 3 PhD students in Communication and Information Sciences.
The Civil Research Group will host 1 PhD student in Civil Engineering.
HEI-Lab will host 10 PhD students in Computer Science, Media Arts and Communication and Clinical Psychology.
I-MVET will host 2 PhD students in Veterinary Sciences and Integrated Health/ One Health.
The FCT's Doctoral Research Scholarships aim to fund research activities leading to a doctoral degree, allowing scholarship holders to develop advanced and innovative studies in their areas of specialization.
