In the 6th edition of the Stimulus to Individual Scientific Employment Competition (CEEC), promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), 5 COFAC researchers were awarded funding for a 6-year researcher contract.
Milos Stankovic, from the COPELABS research unit, received funding for an Individual CEEC as a principal investigator. Dushantha Jayakody, also from COPELABS, Raquel Costa, from HEI-Lab in the assistant researcher category and André Freitas and Ana Filipa Oliveira, from CeiED and CICANT, respectively, in the junior researcher category.
Lusófona University currently receives funding from 9 individual CEECs and 24 institutional CEECs, covering a wide range of scientific research areas.
