5th Edition of FAZER+: Support for Science and Innovation

The 5th edition of the Fazer+ Program: Support for Science and Innovation begins on April 1st.

This is an internal COFAC funding program and aims to reward and support the best research and innovation projects. The program consists of 1 contest and 3 awards.

• Excellence in Research Contest

The competition is an incentive for excellence in research and aims to stimulate the development of research activities. The competition has an available budget of 75.000€ and a maximum amount of funding per project of 40.000€.

• Award for the Best Innovative Pedagogical Practice

The aim of this prize is to encourage the development of innovative teaching activities that encourage active learning and inclusive education. The prize is 5.000€ for individual applications and 8.000€ for group applications.

• Good Teaching Research Practices Award

The Good Practice Award aims to encourage the integration of research and development activities into curricular units in any area and at any level of training. The winning project will receive 5.000€.

• Universidade Lusófona Scientific Publications Award

This award is intended to reward the researcher with the most original publications in journals indexed in SCOPUS, Q1, in 2023. The winner will receive an Honorable Mention and the sum of 250€
