ROBO-KNOT Project Reinforces Its Commitment to Knowledge Valorisation and the Promotion of Innovation
ULusófona, as a participating institution in the European ROBO-KNOT project, reinforces its commitment to the valorisation of scientific knowledge and the promotion of research-driven innovation.
The European SPIN: Rise programme, through the VECTAR – Ventures in Emerging & Critical Technologies for Aerospace & Robotics initiative, complements the objectives of ROBO-KNOT by supporting the transformation of research outcomes into solutions with market potential.
The programme will run from 21 September to 5 November 2026, combining six weeks of online training and mentoring with a three-day in-person bootcamp in Turin, Italy. Throughout the initiative, researchers will benefit from specialised training, one-to-one mentoring, and opportunities to connect with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including a final pitch competition evaluated by industry experts.
VECTAR aims to support researchers in valuing intellectual property, developing business models, and exploring opportunities to commercialize their technologies, contributing to bridging the gap between scientific research and the market and strengthening the creation of new technological solutions.
