Design ID is a recently created research center, which is organized into three thematic groups of Design, namely: Strategic Design, Communication/Interaction Design, and Fashion/Textile Design.
These areas are interconnected in an interdisciplinary way, aiming to respond to issues such as: sustainability, inclusion, cultural heritage, digital technologies, identity, media art, among others.
The research center includes researchers from various areas of expertise in design, visual arts, photography, art history and museology.
