University Lusófona to Host CyberSecPro Winter School 2026 in Lisbon

From 19th to 24th January 2026, the CyberSecPro Winter School 2026 will take place at Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon, offering an intensive and practical training experience in cybersecurity for students, professionals and enthusiasts from around the world.

Organised within the framework of the CyberSecPro platform, the Winter School is designed to help intermediate-level learners deepen their knowledge of essential cybersecurity domains. Over six days, participants will engage in hands-on laboratory sessions, covering topics such as malware analysis, intrusion detection, system hardening, vulnerability scanning, and security information and event management (SIEM). The programme fosters practical skill development through real-world tools and scenarios, mirroring the challenges faced by cybersecurity professionals today.

Each day includes two concentrated lab sessions, allowing attendees to apply theory in realistic environments with advanced technology. The programme culminates in a full-day hackathon, where participants can test their skills against carefully designed cybersecurity challenges, enhancing problem-solving abilities and teamwork.

The Winter School is co-organised by Universidade Lusófona and PDMFC, a research and innovation organisation committed to developing professional competencies and collaborative learning in high-demand fields such as cybersecurity.
