On November 13th and 14th, 2025, ULusófona participated in the National Citizen Science Meeting 2025, which took place under the theme "Communities, Equity and Social Justice".
The University was represented in two interventions:
A full session entitled "Well-being of people with intellectual disabilities: co-construction and technology", moderated by the Director of Research & Development, Pedro Gamito, and presented by researchers Jorge Oliveira and Micaela Fonseca (HEI-Lab);
A workshop entitled "Building a future where everyone contributes with their knowledge", led by researchers Carlos Smaniotto Costa and Nagayamma Aragão (Terr.A.ID).
These participations demonstrate ULusófona's commitment to participatory, inclusive science oriented towards social impact. Presence at this event allowed the presentation of innovative projects, the strengthening of collaborative networks, and the consolidation of the institution's role in the citizen science ecosystem in Portugal.
