ULusófona has submitted six applications to the call HORIZON-WIDERA-2026-02-WIDENING-01 (Twinning), under the Horizon Europe programme, acting as the coordinating institution in all proposals.
This instrument corresponds to Coordination and Support Actions (CSA), aimed at strengthening the scientific profile of research institutions in Widening countries through collaboration with leading European institutions. The focus is on capacity building, modernization of institutional practices, and strengthening international collaboration networks.
The applications were driven by the R&D units CBIOS, CICANT, CIDEFES, HEI-Lab, BiORG, and IM-Vet, involving multidisciplinary teams committed to strengthening their scientific areas and adopting international best practices.
ULusófona’s role as coordinator in six Twinning proposals reflects its institutional commitment to continuous capacity building, the consolidation of strategic partnerships with leading European institutions, and the enhancement of scientific and organizational quality.
