ULusófona Launches “PhD in 3 Minutes: Science Live” Contest
ULusófona has opened applications for the first edition of the “PhD in 3 Minutes: Science Live” competition, an initiative aimed at PhD students that challenges participants to present their research in a clear, creative, and accessible way in just three minutes.
Inspired by the international “Three Minute Thesis” concept, this initiative aims to highlight the research conducted at ULusófona and strengthen the scientific communication skills of its doctoral students. The challenge is simple yet demanding: to explain a central idea of the doctoral project in language accessible to non-specialist audiences, without compromising scientific rigor.
More than just a competition, “PhD in 3 Minutes: Science Live” is an opportunity to give science a voice, bring research closer to society, and showcase the impact of the knowledge produced at ULusófona.
