On 25 February 2025, applications closed for the 2024 Call for Exploratory Projects in All Scientific Fields promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology.
This year, COFAC stood out by submitting 44 applications, 43 of which came from 11 Research and Development Units, namely: CICANT, CBIOS, CeiED, COPELABS, HEI-Lab, IntrepidLab, BioRG, I-MVET, CIDEFES, Terr.A.ID and RCM2+ and 1 application submitted by ISMAT. The active participation of these units reflects a collective commitment to science, demonstrating the capacity and diversity of scientific areas within the institution.
The projects with the best evaluations will be financed by national funds through the FCT budget, with maximum funding of €60,000 per project.
