INDEEP – MSCA Doctoral Networks receives Horizon Europe funding

Lusófona University participates in the MSCA Doctoral Networks called INtervention on the DEterminants of, and Expertise in, Physical activity behaviors (INDEEP), through Research group in Sports behavior, Physical Education, and Exercise and Health Sciences (CIDEFES). 

The aim of an MSCA Doctoral Network is to implement doctoral programmes through partnerships between organizations from different sectors in Europe. Thus, MSCA Doctoral Networks aim to stimulate creativity, strengthen innovation capacity and increase long-term employability.

The INDEEP project aims to encourage doctoral students to carry out research activities in the areas of physical activity, health and well-being, promoting international mobility.

The project started in March 2023, has a duration of 48 months, and brings together a total of 8 partners:

• Shannon University of Technology: Midlands Midwest and the University of Limerick, from Ireland;
• The University of Agder, from Norway
• The Stichting VU Foundation and the VU University Hospital, from the Netherlands;
• The Leibniz Institute for Prevention and Epidemiology Research, from Germany;
• The University of Gent, from Belgium;
• The Cooperativa de Formação e Animação Cultural, C.R.L. (COFAC), of the Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa.
