C-Accelerate Plus: Driving Innovation and Entrepreneurship in European Creative Education
C-Accelerate Plus is an EIT HEInitiative aimed at enhancing innovation and entrepreneurial capacity within higher education institutions, especially in the arts and creative sectors. It builds on the foundation of the original C-Accelerate project (2022-2023), focusing on embedding entrepreneurship into the core educational and institutional fabric of universities across Europe.
The project is part of the FilmEU Cosmos, the broader ecosystem of initiatives that connect education, research, and innovation within the FilmEU European University. FilmEU itself is a core component of the FilmEU Cosmos.
The program brings together a diverse and dynamic consortium of higher education institutions, including Aalto University, Tallinn University, LUCA School of Arts, Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT), Lusófona University, the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU), the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA), and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA), as well as the FilmEU Association.
In addition, C-Accelerate Plus works closely with industry partner SP Televisão and associated partners such as VIA University College (Denmark) and Aalto University, who contribute to fostering real-world connections and experiential learning opportunities.
C-Accelerate Plus ultimately contributes to shaping a future-facing European University model that centers on creativity, collaboration, and sustainability.
