Internal Training

Citizen Science in Research and Innovation

On 14 May 2025, at 3:00 PM, ILIND will hold the training session “Citizen Science in Research and Innovation”.

This session, delivered by Cristina Luís, from Change - Global Change and Sustainability Institute, aims to explore the role of citizen science as a driving force for change in scientific research and innovation.

Through practical examples and success stories, the session will discuss how active public participation can enrich the scientific process, promote greater transparency, and strengthen the connection between science and society. It will also encourage reflection on collaborative approaches and the challenges involved in placing society at the heart of knowledge production.

This is an in-house training, so it is aimed at the entire Ensino Lusófona academic community. Although this session is free and held in a hybrid format, registration is required on the Employee Portal.
