The PhD Programme in Communication and Activisms at Universidade Lusófona – Porto University Centre, together with CICANT and Communitas, the Think Tank of the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS) at the University of Minho, invites the entire academic community to take part in the upcoming debate on the use of Artificial Intelligence in academic writing processes. The event will take place on 23 May at 5:00 PM and will be held exclusively online.
This session aims to clarify doubts and address concerns regarding the ethical implications of using digital tools in an effective, responsible, and transparent manner.
The debate will feature contributions from Dalila Durães, Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Informatics at the University of Minho, and Sílvia Araújo, Associate Professor in the Department of Romance Studies at the University of Minho. The session will be moderated by Manuel Pita, Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Complex Systems at CICANT, Universidade Lusófona – Lisbon University Centre.
