Universidade Lusófona, in partnership with the University of Biskra, co-organized an international Sensory School as part of the COST Action CitySenZ initiative.
Held over three days in Biskra, Algeria, the event brought together researchers and participants from diverse academic, cultural, and national backgrounds. The program created a dynamic platform for interdisciplinary exchange, combining scientific exploration with meaningful human interaction.
The Sensory School focused on the study of ambiances and sensory dimensions in heritage environments. Participants conducted immersive fieldwork at Timgad, a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site, where they explored the complex relationships between space, perception, and cultural heritage.
