ULusófona submits 54 applications to the FCT 2026 Doctoral Scholarships

ULusófona submitted 54 applications to the FCT 2026 Doctoral Scholarships Call, including 46 applications under the general line and 8 under the non-academic environment line.

This significant number primarily reflects the choice of students and early-career researchers, who recognize ULusófona and its research units — CBIOS, CICANT, COPELABS, HEI-Lab, IMET, and CeiED — as a strong, diverse, and stimulating scientific environment for the development of their doctoral projects.

The submitted applications cover a wide range of scientific fields, demonstrating the institution’s capacity to host and promote high-quality research across different areas, from health sciences and technology to social sciences, communication, and education.

This volume of submissions confirms ULusófona’s growing dynamism in competitive national calls and further reinforces the consolidation of its scientific teams’ work, not only in preparing high-quality proposals but also in establishing the institution as an attractive hub for advanced training and knowledge production.
