HEI-Lab (Digital Laboratories for Human Environments and Interactions), an R&D unit at Lusófona University, was the first research center in Portugal to have a NoldusHub system.
It is an integrated platform that centralizes, synchronizes, and visualizes multimodal data on human behavior, offering a single point of access and control for all recorded signals and behavioral responses.
The system integrates data from cameras, eye trackers, and physiological sensors, allowing for the simultaneous measurement of facial expressions, eye movements, as well as various physiological, behavioral, and cognitive responses from participants.
Training on the use of NoldusHub and FaceReader was provided by Noldus experts Patrick Zimmerman and Güus Bongers, ensuring that HEI-Lab is fully equipped to make the most of this cutting-edge infrastructure in support of transdisciplinary research in the areas of human-digital media interaction, with an impact on the social, educational, and health sectors.
