Did you know that research from ULusófona was in the spotlight at the Science Fair?

On September 10th, the "Criar Ciência" event served as a vibrant meeting point for ULusófona’s scientific community with the Science and Innovation Exhibition.

Organized by ILIND, the initiative provided a platform for researchers, faculty members, and students to present their projects, prototypes, and findings to the academic community and external partners in an informal networking setting.

Far from a traditional exhibition, the event aimed to highlight not only completed projects, but also ongoing research and preliminary results. Visitors who attended the morning and afternoon sessions engaged directly with the university’s research through a variety of interactive formats:

• Live demonstrations and interactive prototypes

• Scientific posters, flyers, and roll-up banners

• Multimedia displays, videos, and project mock-ups

The strong participation across departments underscored the importance of creating dedicated spaces for dialogue among the university's various Research Units. The initiative successfully fostered new opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration and brought the Research & Innovation (R&I) ecosystem closer to the wider public.

ILIND extends its gratitude to all researchers, teachers, and students who submitted proposals and brought the exhibition to life, demonstrating the vitality, diversity, and impact of the research produced at Universidade Lusófona.
